Hatty Wassell is a nature artist and bookbinder who graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2026, with a BA (Hons) Illustration degree. Her artwork has been supplied to local gift shops, featured in articles by Dezeen & New Designers, and she has previously created activity books, advertisement assets, lesson plan illustrations and more.

The Outdoor Activity Book: Mindful Nature Activities For Adults
Created as part of her Final Major Project, Hatty's nature activity book is designed to help adults manage stress by practising mindfulness and connecting with nature, with the aim of improving mental health in the United Kingdom as well as the country's low connection with nature.

Dezeen Magazine Feature
In 2026 Hatty's artwork was featured in an online article by the magazine Dezeen. The piece discusses themes of autism acceptance and how autistic women of colour are overlooked for diagnosis.
